Reverence For Creation
The essence of creation is everywhere.
It’s in you.
It’s in me.
It’s in art, music, ideas, love. It is life.
And creation was never meant to be careless.
To create is to do so with intention.
When an artist paints, they buy the canvas. They choose the brushes. They select the colors carefully because they understand something important… creation requires preparation, attention, patience, and responsibility.
And then there is woman.
Harvesting a human being inside of her own body. Growing bones, a brain, eyes, ears, a nose.
A voice waiting for sound.
A soul waiting for language.
All inside of one person.
That is divine creation or at least humanity’s closest reflection of it.
Who are you co-creating with?
What are you building?
What energy is touching the canvas?
Careful.
Because you recognize the sacredness of creating anything that is meant to last.
Anything worth creating requires care before it exists, while it exists, and long after it exists.
Even a painting requires preservation if you hope to one day see it hanging proudly generations from now.
Creation has no end.
And knowing that, we must try to never create with our eyes closed.
