Where Do I Begin?

Writing about myself has always felt a little strange.

You’d think it would come naturally considering how much I enjoy writing, but somehow it’s easier to tell stories than it is to explain who I am.

Maybe that’s because we’re all a collection of things rather than a simple introduction.

I’m Ada Everly.

A name that first appeared in 2022 but didn’t truly come alive until much later. If you stay awhile, perhaps one day I’ll tell you that story too.

As for me, I’m still figuring parts of myself out.

I love words, though they don’t always come easily. I love movement, though you’ll rarely find me counting reps in a gym. I’d rather disappear on a long walk, spend an afternoon riding my bike, or wander through a city I’ve never seen before.

I have a soft spot for good music, thoughtful conversation, and people who can laugh at themselves. I pay attention to little things the way a room feels, the perfect song at exactly the right moment, the comfort of good company after a long day.

I’ve never been particularly interested in rushing through life.

The moments I remember most aren’t usually the grand ones. They’re the unexpected conversations. The stories shared over dinner. The afternoons that somehow turn into evenings. The feeling of being completely present with another person and nowhere else you’d rather be.

This website is a small collection of those moments.
